Description
A family strolls the carriage path running down from the mansion toward Smith Farm at Borderland. It's a warm October afternoon. They consented to me photographing them. They were very friendly. It was only as I was later working on the painting that I recognized the look of a father reunited with wife and children after deployment to the "sandbox." This only my conjecture, but it makes a fun narrative.
